“Stella” was proudly showcased at the 2017 Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo, which took place October 21 to 24 at McCormick Place West in Chicago, Illinois. Sponsored by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, FNCE brings more than 10,000 registered dietitian nutritionists, nutrition science researchers, policy makers, healthcare providers and industry leaders. This year also marked the 100th year anniversary of the Academy.
A collaboration between DM&A and Delegate Software Solutions, Stella is a 100% web-based, cloud-hosted healthcare food service software that provides a solution for managing recipes, menus and production. Stella is especially unique in that it allows smaller facilities that do not have IT departments or limited IT departments and do not have the resources of an FTE to manage the application locally. Stella uses the Delegate software platform and DM&A’s team of executive chefs and registered dietitians manage the database. Both DM&A and Delegate are leaders in their respective industries.
