Nutrition Division Mission

“By providing coaching, education and tools, we can help to empower Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN) and Certified Diabetes Educators to achieve personal and professional success by taking them from good to best.”

DM&A’s Nutrition Division provides coaching, mentoring, training and education on best practices in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Services provided are for the Clinical Nutrition Manager, RDN, Dietetic Technicians and Certified Diabetes Educators.

The most sought after program the DM&A Nutrition Division provides is the Malnutrition Education and Training Program.

The Nutrition Division also provides coaching and education in the following areas: clinical nutrition ,outpatient nutrition Services, diabetes self-management education services, and room service and insulin delivery instruction and education.

Coaching and education is focused primarily on the following but not limited to: all aspects of the patient care plan, including the screening, assessment, intervention, and monitoring and evaluation of the patient, the client interview, and also the “business” of dietetics. The business of dietetics involves program development, reimbursement, clinical nutrition audits, and clinical nutrition staffing in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
